Director of High-Performance Program

Orange Lawn Tennis Club LLC is seeking to fill this position in its South Orange, NJ office. Position will supervise staff coaches, scouts and athletic trainers.

• To execute the High-Performance Training Spring, Fall and Winter Programming.
• To execute, staff and direct the High-Performance Summer Camp.
• Able to promote and teach private and group lessons to juniors.
• Plays or represents the club in Pro-Ams.
• Ability to re-string, re-grip and repair rackets.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.

Position Requirements: Education and Skill Requirements – Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Sports Management, Physical Education or related field.

Certification with either U.S. Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) or Professional Tennis Registry (PTR)- highest level. USPTA required P1 or Elite rating. Player ability equal to NCAA Division 1 level.

Collegiate team experience desirable, preferably with a 5.0 or above rating. Ten + years of competitive playing experience and/or tennis supervisory experience. Experience with all junior level training, specifically, high performance training/top tier training. Ability to control natural swing speed during instruction or matches with inexperienced players. Sufficient stamina to tolerate hot and humid outdoor weather for several consecutive hours. Continuous standing, walking, running, bending, stooping and repetitive actions. Frequent lifting and moving of objects. Able to promote and teach private and group lessons to juniors. Plays or represents the club in Pro-Ams. Ability to re-string, re-grip and repair rackets. Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations. including immediate reactive action for tennis-related injuries. Possible travel, within and outside of MSA and possibly international, with student athletes and coaching staff.

Position Hours: Flex schedule – M-F / 9am-5pm – unless otherwise arranged.

Touring Tennis Professional

Orange Lawn Tennis Club LLC is seeking to fill this position in its South Orange, NJ office.

Travel with our top student athletes to different tournaments Nationally and Internationally. Scout talent locally and nationally, select elite junior players to partake in our High-Performance Program.
Promote and teach private and group lessons to juniors. Plays or represents the club in Pro-Ams. Ability to re-string, re-grip and repair rackets. Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.

Position Requirements: Education and Skill Requirements: Preferred – Multilingual ability; specifically English, Spanish, and Italian. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Sports Management, Physical Education or related field.
